Occasional Twist is a small company built out of a love for fine furniture. Our studio/shop is located in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, home of some of the world's finest furniture craftsmen. With our years of experience in the production of high-end furniture, we understand what quality is.

We offer a small line of case goods of our own design and purchase Italian-made beechwood chair frames to finish and upholster as you like. These can be ordered in our standard finishes or custom finished to your specifications. Our painted finishes can be altered to use any colors you select. We also offer custom cabinetmaking to create one of a kind case goods designed to satisfy your needs. We can also re-finish your existing pieces for an updated look!

Occasional Twist specializes in painted, antiqued and hand-decorated finishes. All of our decorating is completely done by hand by one of our owners, an artist for 20 years. We use no silk screens or decals. Our goal is to create furniture that is different, unique and stylish, yet reasonably priced.
